할머니 사람잡네~

젊은 남자가 물건을 좀 사려고 수퍼마켓에 들어갔는데 자기 주위를 계속 따라다니는 할머니가 있다는 것을 눈치챘으나 크게 신경쓰지 않고 물건을 골라서 계산대쪽으로 갔다. 그 할머니가 자기 앞에 있었다.

할머니: 용서하구려. 내가 젊은이를 쳐다보는 것이 불편했다면 미안해요. 최근에 죽은 내 아들을 꼭 닮았구려.
젊은이: 그것 참 안됐군요. 제가 뭐 도와드릴 일이라도 있을까요? 
할머니: 에구, 친절하기도 해라.  내가 떠날 때, 안녕, 엄마~라고 말해줄 수 있나요? 그렇게 말해주면 훨씬 기분이 좋아질 것 같군요.
젊은이: 그러고 말고요.
할머니가 계산대를 떠날 때 젊은이가 소리쳤다. " 엄마, 안녕~"
계산이 127달러 50센트가 나왔다. "도대체 이게 무슨 일이야? 몇 가지 안 샀는데!" 젊은이가 점원에게 물었다.
점원왈: 손님 어머니가 손님이 계산하실거라고 했어요.

A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him. "Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who just died recently." "I'm very sorry," replied the young man, "is there anything I can do for you?" "Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother'? It would make me feel so much better." "Sure," answered the young man.As the old woman was leaving, he called out, "Goodbye, Mother!" As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50. "How can that be?" He asked, "I only purchased a few things!" "Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk. :D
